Requirements to Become a Manufacturing Partner

Rapid Protos have teamed up to become the world’s largest supplier of on-demand parts. We work with a global network of manufacturing partners (MPs) to deliver custom parts to customers all over the world, and we are always looking to bring on new partners to expand our capabilities and capacity.

You run a business with parts manufacturing capabilities and can meet international ISO quality management system certification requirements

You follow the quality management system procedures and provide strict product quality inspection reports.

Your factory is located in one of the following regions: US, EU, China

We Work with the Following Manufacturers

CNC Machining

You have 3 4 5-axis CNC machine tools and other manufacturing equipment that can handle CNC machining orders

3D Printing

You have at least one additive manufacturing equipment, whether it is SLA, SLS, FDM.MJF

Sheet Metal Fabrication

You have at least one laser cutter and one sheet metal bender.

Injection Molding

You do either mold manufacturing and/or injection in-house.

Vacuum Casting

You have at least a complete set of polyurethane mold vacuum casting equipment

Die Casting

You have at least one machine that can die cast.

Additional Requirements

ISO:9001, ISO:13485, AS:9100, ATF16949 or any other industry-specific certifications

Internal post-processing / surface treatment capabilities

Ability to fulfill an order in several days
